House Extension, Kenilworth
This house extension in Kenilworth, Warwickshire was to add a modern design to this existing former vicarage to enhance the ground floor accommodation. This house extension design was to incorporate two large aluminium bi fold doors make the most out of the large external space available during summer days. We installed steel beams to open up the extension into the original house to form a very large kitchen, we installed a high quality kitchen with Corian worktops and seamless Corian sink.
This project in Dorridge, Solihull was to take an existing 1940’s semi detached house and turn it into a six bedroom home with three bathrooms. For this home extension in Solihull we formed a single storey rear extension across the full back of the house and then also formed a two storey side extension that created a large family kitchen to the rear and three bedrooms to the side. As part of this extension in Solihull we also carried out a loft conversion, re wired the whole house and installed a new central heating system.
Home Extension, Warwickshire
This single storey extension in Warwickshire was to enlarge the existing kitchen into a huge family kitchen and then to the side to create additional accommodation for the client’s mother to live in. This extension has a flat roof design protected by a high performance EPDM membrane which also incorporated two sun tubes for natural light into rooms where windows were not practical due to restrictions against neighbouring properties. On this home extension in Warwickshire we installed a high quality kitchen and two bathrooms, new central heating system with under flooring heating and renovated the complete property.
Home Extension, Balsall Common
This home extension in Balsall Common was a single storey rear extension and opening up of the rear ground floor into one huge kitchen space with aluminium bi fold door to rear, renovation of the side utility space and also a garage conversion to form a study and ground floor w.c. We also installed a bespoke German kitchen with large island space and stunning huge roof windows.

We are often asked when carrying out extensions in Solihull & Warwickshire – How much do they cost?
There are a lot of variables in any extension and we advise to be wary of so called square metre rates as these can often be very misleading. We cost every job individually and do not work on metre rates. It is therefore very difficult to give an indication on cost without a site meeting. We visit your home and discuss what you would like to achieve and the design style that works for you and your home.
We will then submit an initial cost proposal that also covers design work and building regulation requirements.
VAT (Value Added Tax)
Every cost that we deliver to you will always include VAT at the current rate, the current threshold for a business in the UK to become VAT Registered is currently £83,000. Always check your quotes from builders as in our opinion if a builder is not VAT registered they have a low turnover and are they suitably experienced to carry out your project and are they also a sought after builder?
Will I need planning Permission for my extension?
Planning permission is not always required for your extension. Permitted development rights are quite often used for home extensions and we will discuss which route is best suited for your particular project.
We undertake all our extension to building regulation standards and in most instances exceed the current requirements. Building regulations cover every aspect of the project from structural works to insulation levels that are required during the build.
