Loft Conversion in Warwickshire

Loft conversion to period listed property in Warwickshire including conservation Velux roof windows to front and rear elevation and leaded dormer to the rear to form en-suite.

The brief for this loft conversion was to form master bedroom with en-suite, to enable sufficient space to create this new space, plans were submitted to gain permission for a rear dormer to this listed property. After consulting with the conservation department, we designed a lead clad dormer to suit the period of this property and to work with the style of the building.

Conservation roof windows were fitted with vertical centre bar and black external finish to blend tastefully into the roof line of this period home.

The rear dormer also features Timber sash windows with Fleur De Lys glazing to match in with obscure glazing in other parts of the property. The dormer roof is protected by high performance EPDM roofing system.

Internally all joinery compliments the existing home, from the internal doors to the stair joinery, to create a seamless addition to this home. The en-suite feature fully tiled floor and walls with high specification fittings. Storage space was created to the full width of the front roof and remaining read void with insulated access doors.
