Excellent from start to finish. Mike and his team at UYS converted half of my garage into a home office. Probably not their biggest job but one that will make a big difference to me. When I first met Mike, he came across as professional, knowledgeable, keen and trustworthy and he and his team lived up to every commitment they made. First contact to completion took less than 8 weeks, work was completed to a high quality and in a considerate manner and everyone who I met was friendly, hard working and committed and delivered high quality work. In addition, Mike responded promptly and fully to every question I had throughout the process. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again and would highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish. Mike and team converted my garage into a home office. Probably not their biggest job but one that I will really benefit from. When I first met Mike, he came across as professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and trustworthy. And he and his team lived up to every commitment they made at the outset - first contact to completion took less than 8 weeks, everyone I worked with was friendly and delivered high quality work in a considerate way, and every question I had throughout the process was answered promptly. Mike and his team at UYS were excellent. The quote was detailed and clear and communication through a bespoke what’s app group was really easy and quick. When we ran into some unavoidable problems with ground works, Mike quickly came up with a clearly costed solution. His team are polite conscientious and personable. The work was of good quality and we are very satisfied with our new extension.

We hired Use Your Space to do attic conversionThis was quite a big job including fitting new steels, dormer roof, new bathroom, reconfiguring first floor to fit new staircase.Mike and all his team carried out the job to a very high standard and did so in a very professional manner.They were also always patient and accommodating to last minute requests which had not been anticipated for which I am very thankful.I am very glad we chose Use Your Space and would happily recommend them.Looking forward to getting them back for next project!

From the very start when my Husband and I met with Mike and his team we got an instant feeling of trust and reassurance that we were in safe hands a real professional touch even to the small things like branded vehicles and arriving dressed in smart clothing. Not only can a home renovation project be stressful and costly but it can also go terribly wrong in the wrong hands. However, with Mike and his Team of trusted tradesmen we had our work started and finished to an exceptional standard. All of the tradesmen he employs are people who he would have in his own home. He answers his phone and comes back on messages promptly which is a refreshing change to other tradesmen who are a complete opposite. Mike and his team are genuinely knowledgeable and really did go above and beyond and respected our family and home throughout the entirety of the renovation and I simply cannot thank them all enough. Whilst we hired Mike and his team as our tradesmen we would now consider each another friends for life. I really cannot speak highly enough of these guys. Mike and Co. are amazing people. Haven't used them for building jobs but on the first day of lockdown they helped me out massively. I was broken into, had my car stolen and was unable to get to work as a nurse for the NHS. I needed my garden gate securing which was damaged durjng the break in. They came to do this little job for me, which is a job i beleive they dont normally do, as a final job before Mike's business was closing during the COVID-19 crisis. They maintained safety and social distancing and even though I offered, would not accept payment. This was so appreciated, shows what lovely, genuine people we still have in this world, amazing and would highly recommend them all. Thanks again!! 👍👍

Mike impressed us from the start with his knowledge upon quoting. The single storey extension was carried out with few issues and now provides a lovely space for myself and my family. We did have a few snagging issues post completion but Mike has come back and fixed these to our satisfaction

We have now used UYS twice, first for our loft conversion in 2018 and more recently they extended our kitchen to create a living area. They were so helpful at the planning stage, talking through ideas and putting us in touch with an architect who created the drawings ready to submit to planning. Throughout the jobs, Mike and his team made the process as easy as possible and completed within the time frame given. Any requests we had, were never an issue and Mike was always very clear on costings before any changes were made. Both extensions are better than we could have ever imagined and we are so pleased with the quality of the finish. The extensions have had such a positive impact to the way we live in our home.Thanks to everyone at UYS.

Mike goes out of his way to make sure his clients are happy and understand the steps to the project, and the professionalism and attention to detail by the whole team was second to none. Having building work done in your home can often be a bit stressful but Mike and the team went out of their way to try and minimise the impact of what was a fairly large and complicated job. Everyone was polite, friendly, hard working and cleaned up after each day.
If anyone wants a loft conversion or extension, I would thoroughly recommend Mike and UYS – their professionalism is very impressive and the finished product is top notch.

We were recommended Mike and the team by a friend. From day 1 it became apparent that Mike was very professional and would go out of his way to keep his clients happy. They certainly delivered throughout the build of our upper floor extension.
His project manager Mick kept the job flowing and obviously had a fantastic relationship with all the teams and subbies. There was always somebody on site at 730 which my retired neighbour commented on. Everyone was polite and always cleaned up where possible.
The quality of work is fantastic and we found very few snags. The snags we found were dealt with in a timely manner.
Although having building work going on can be stressful, UYS made things less painful. They offered advice and recommendations. The payment structure and way they manage variations brings comfort financially too.

Mike and his team have been amazing. Started work on a wrap around extension and whole house refurb 3 years ago which was complete in 6 months. The team worked tirelessly to complete in time for my mother to move in. 3 years down the line we are still delighted with the excellent finish and Mike and team are still on hand if we need them as we adapt our home to accommodate my aging mother. Mike and his team are just nearing completion of an amazing project on our house. Their attitude to work is fantastic. The speed and quality of build has been brilliant. Mike has kept us really well informed all the way though and the app he uses to manage the project is fab.
