Mike and the UYS team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish and have helped turn the vision for our dream kitchen into a reality.

The project ran to time and they were incredibly clean and tidy throughout, meaning that it never felt like the team were invading our home anymore than what was required to build an extension and completely refit our kitchen with all new cooker, cupboards, sink, work surfaces etc. the final result is amazing and we absolutely love it.

Mike and the team have made such a difference to our lives with the work they have done. They were all really pleasant and polite, and dealing with them was great experience, we would absolutely recommend them for any design and build projects you may be considering for your home.

Our garage has been part converted into a home office space, giving us that much needed extra space, whilst maintaining a bit of garage storage. Mike and his team were always polite and professional, willing to answer our many questions! Thanks for your hard work.

We used Use Your Space for a garage conversion which included a new downstairs toilet. Right from the start Mike was extremely organised and transparent about the project. The app clearly outlined the project schedule and pictures and descriptions of progress were uploaded everyday. All queries were answered within 24 hours. The workmen were on time and very polite. The project was a big success overall and we are pleased with the outcome!

Mike and his team have just finished our loft conversion, and from day one I was really impressed. Mike goes out of his way to make sure his clients are happy and understand the steps to the project, and the professionalism and attention to detail by the whole team was second to none. Having building work done in your home can often be a bit stressful but Mike and the team went out of their way to try and minimise the impact of what was a fairly large and complicated job. Everyone was polite, friendly, hard working and cleaned up after each day.

If anyone wants a loft conversion or extension, I would thoroughly recommend Mike and UYS – their professionalism is very impressive and the finished product is top notch.

I had a fantastic experience with Mike and his team at Use Your Space Design & Build. From the very start, they were professional and thorough, providing detailed brochures that helped me visualize the project. The entire process was smooth, and the team delivered exactly what I was hoping for with my garage conversion. The final handover pack was a great touch, showing their attention to detail and commitment to quality. A top-class team that I’d highly recommend!

The simplest review I could make is to say that I agree with all the reviews on here. Thank you, but I won’t!

However, the story behind the job is simple – a replacement porch with the removal of the original inside door to make the hall larger. The PVC porch and front door were completely removed and a replacement brick frontage was built in its place. Security was an issue but by discussion it was resolved such that we were able to carry on at home during the works. When the original (“inside”) front door was removed, a problem was found with the floor levels which had been hidden by the original front door. This was quickly resolved by the team. During the alteration to the existing floor, they installed a temporary screen to prevent dust from circulating within the rest of the hall and stairs.

Communications were continuously available to and with us by clever use of a (free) social media platform which gives peace of mind for those who may have questions about anything to do with the works in hand. As an Engineer myself, I prepared a small snag list which by the team covered in the finishing process. Needless to say, all works were carried out professionally under the leadership of the boss Mike even extending to sub-contractors for other related works. The whole job has been completed to our satisfaction reflecting the professional and efficient methods of working by the team as a whole. Excellent Loft Conversion by Use Your Space

Mike and his team recently completed a loft conversion for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and efficient. They kept the workspace tidy, clearing up after themselves each day.

Mike maintained excellent communication throughout the project, providing regular updates and photos so we could see the progress, even when much of the work was out of sight. The final result exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to use Use Your Space for any future extension work. Highly recommended!

Thanks Mike and your team for our extension. We had 2 bedrooms put on top of the garage space, a new bathroom and we turned our box bedroom into an en suite.

When you appoint a team of builders you are concerned they might not do a good job despite doing your homework but we need not have worried about Mike and the team, from week one they applied themselves to our conversion. There was a high standard of workmanship and input at every stage. Mike knew all about modern techniques and standards and we felt confident in his superior knowledge. I am quite picky with an eye for detail and demanding but when necessary the team were willing to go that extra mile to undertake anything I asked or on the rare occasion any small issues I wasn’t 100% happy with. The end result is brilliant and I would happily recommend to anyone, it’s so hard to find a team that are so conscientious and willing to make the customer happy which the UYS team do. The project was made all the more difficult being such an old building with lots of different form and shape to the structure. It was worth every penny seeing how happy my children are every time we go in the room. The overall brief for the room was to be a gym area for myself, a family room and a social hub for the house so very much multi purpose, everything undertaken was nailed to how I envisaged in my mind when we first thought about doing the work. The communication was fantastic from day 1 with a what’s app group set up with every detail discussed and confirmed before the particular stage was completed, which is very refreshing as we have suffered in the past from being kept in the dark but not at all did we feel like this with Mike. We won’t hesitate to contact in future for more work.
