About This Project
Our client needed extra space to work from home but also wanted to make the new space versatile so the whole family could get benefit from the garage conversion. It was also important to keep some storage space and get lots of natural light into the new space so it was a comfortable place to work and enjoy.
What Use Your Space Did
UY S designed the new space to ensure we met all of our clients requirements so to the front 1/4 of the garage we created a storage area accessible from the existing garage doors to comply with building regulations this was a fire resistant structure. We also boarded out the roof area above the conversion with a new insulated drop down ladder and lighting.
To get lots of natural light into this garage conversion we install French doors facing the garden, giving access to the new space but getting lots of natural light in.
To further add natural light we installed two sun tunnels.
Flooring was laid , storage and media area was added and to complete the new space was fully decorated.
