"When you appoint a team of builders you are concerned they might not do a good job despite doing your homework but we need not have worried about Mike and the team, from week one they applied themselves to our conversion. There was a high standard of workmanship and input at every stage. Mike knew all about modern techniques and standards and we felt confident in his superior knowledge. I am quite picky with an eye for detail and demanding but when necessary the team were willing to go that extra mile to undertake anything I asked or on the rare occasion any small issues I wasn’t 100% happy with. The end result is brilliant and I would happily recommend to anyone, it’s so hard to find a team that are so conscientious and willing to make the customer happy which the UYS team do. The project was made all the more difficult being such an old building with lots of different form and shape to the structure. It was worth every penny seeing how happy my children are every time we go in the room. The overall brief for the room was to be a gym area for myself, a family room and a social hub for the house so very much multi purpose, everything undertaken was nailed to how I envisaged in my mind when we first thought about doing the work. The communication was fantastic from day 1 with a what’s app group set up with every detail discussed and confirmed before the particular stage was completed, which is very refreshing as we have suffered in the past from being kept in the dark but not at all did we feel like this with Mike. We won’t hesitate to contact in future for more work."
